Aquafitness class for mothers with babies aged five months or older (referrals only, as mothers will be actively moving and babies' heads must be held up). Exercises with baby in arms and with baby in a float aid. Class not offered in summer.
Mother-baby circuit with Stroller
Cardio circuit training coupled with outdoor strengthening exercises (e.g., walking on the bike trail behind Sporthèque or in another location, etc.). A great way to get fresh air while exercising with your baby !
Mother-baby circuit FIT
The Circuit FIT class for mothers and babies, inspired by our Circuit FIT program, is specifically designed for post-natal clients. Its workouts, performed at various stations, gradually build endurance along with muscle strength, power, and resistance. Exercises may be done within a certain time or with a set number of repetitions.
A 45-minute group class for women who want to get fit after childbirth. Mothers can bring their baby to class with them. Equipment is also available for children (playpens, exercisers, floor mats, etc.). Medium- to high-intensity. 30 exercise bikes. Upbeat music at a comfortable volume. Lively, engaging instructors with post-natal client experience.
Mother-baby Power Yoga with stroller
In addition to post-natal abdominal exercises, participants practise traditional yoga poses at a faster pace to increase temperature and heart rate. Classes take place outdoors when weather permits.
